A season of magic
December 18, 2025
Holiday “Meet Santa” open house events
The holiday spirit was in full swing recently as we hosted our annual Santa Open House events across three of our communities: Huntersbrook, Evanswood, and Watercrest of Hugo.
Each neighborhood brought its own unique charm to the festivities. If you missed out, or just want to relive the magic, here is a look back at our favorite moments!
🎅 Memories with the Big Guy
The star of the show, of course, was Santa Claus himself. He made a grand appearance at each location, taking time to hear Christmas wishes and pose for photos.
On Sunday, December 7th, the cozy Huntersbrook Clubhouse setting made for some great family photos.
The energy was electric, with families lining up early to share a high-five with St. Nick in the Wesley D Model in Evanswood, Maple Grove on Saturday, December 13th.
Santa saw some of the most creative “wish lists” yet, in the Birchwood Model D in Watercrest of Hugo on Sunday, December 14th, including a request for a real-life unicorn!
At TRADITION, community is at the center of everything we do. We’re proud to have helped bring Huntersbrook to life from dirt work and development through homebuilding. We couldn’t miss the chance to capture a little holiday spirit at the recent Robert Thomas Homes Santa Event.
🍪 Treats, Crafts, and Community
It wasn’t just about the photos; it was about neighbors becoming friends. We were thrilled to see so many families enjoying the “extras” that make these events special:
- The Cocoa Bar: Guests warmed up with hot cocoa, piled high with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and peppermint candy cane.
- Holiday Activity Stations: From handmade ornaments to coloring pages, the creativity of our young residents was on full display.
- Model Home Tours: Many guests took the opportunity to stroll through our professionally decorated model homes, gathering a little “home design” inspiration for the new year.
A Heartfelt Thank You
These events are the highlight of our year because they remind us why we do what we do: building communities, not just houses. A huge thank you to the guests who joined us in Huntersbrook, Evanswood, and Watercrest. Your smiles and holiday spirit truly made the season bright.
