Most journeys to a new home start in the same place: the quiet moments of scrolling. It’s a Pinterest board filled with “someday” kitchens, a saved Instagram reel of a sun-drenched morning room, and a collection of textures that just feel right.

Homeownership Redefined: The Robert Thomas Homes Experience
At Robert Thomas Homes, we don’t just build houses; we build the backdrop for your life’s best moments. This week, we are celebrating the Customer Mindset—our commitment to putting you, the homeowner, at the heart of every decision we make.
Whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned homeowner, we know that the journey to a new home can feel like a whirlwind. That’s why we’ve simplified our approach to ensure your experience is as seamless and exciting as the day you get your keys. Join the conversation this week using #HomewithRTH as we pull back the curtain on what it means to build with us.
A Story of Home: First-Time Buyer Testimonial
The #HomewithRTH Journey: Simplified
Every dream home follows a unique path, but our core process remains the same. We’ve distilled our various build options into five high-level steps so you always know exactly where you stand.
Before Design Day even begins, our team sets the foundation for a seamless experience. Each homeowner completes an Interior Design Questionnaire, allowing us to walk into the studio with an understanding of your style, priorities, and the way you want your home to feel.
1. The Foundation: Agreements & Financing
Before we move dirt, we align on the vision. Whether you are signing a Purchase Agreement, reserving your perfect homesite, or finalizing an ARC Design Agreement, this stage is all about securing your spot and getting your financing in order. We work with you to ensure the paperwork is clear and the path forward is set!
2. The Vision: Planning & Design
This is where your house starts to feel like your home. You’ll meet with our team for Option and Plan Reviews and visit our Design Studio. From electrical layouts (Low Voltage meetings) to picking the perfect finishes, this phase is dedicated to tailoring the space to your lifestyle.
3. The Build: Construction & Milestones
Watch your vision take shape! We kick things off with a Homestart Meeting to review the plans one last time. Throughout construction, we prioritize site safety and invite you to a Pre-Drywall Meeting to see the “bones” of your home before the finishes go in.
4. The Handover: Orientation & Closing
As we approach the finish line, we ensure everything is up to our standards—and yours. You’ll have a New Home Orientation and a Final Acceptance Meeting to learn the ins and outs of your new space. Then, it’s time for the best part: Closing Day!
5. The Partnership: Customer Care & Warranty
Our relationship doesn’t end when you get the keys. We stay by your side through your first year and beyond. With a Post-Close Review and an 11-Month Warranty Check-in, we ensure your home continues to perform the way it was designed to.
A Note from Our Customer Care Team
We believe that great service extends beyond move-in day. Our team is here to support you by providing guidance and care as you get to know your home.
